BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING?

Encouraging independence in your toddlers and preschool age kids while shopping locally.

Got that supply list or the endless Parent Handbook?

Some Montessori and Waldorf preschools require “first shoes”, “first walkers” or “indoor slipper shoes”.  Some have even specified handmade shoes in their back to school lists and handbooks.  Most Waldorf schools require non-marking indoor slipper shoes that the children can get on/off independently.

At Sundance & Friends we carry a huge selection of Colorado handmade children’s slipper shoes.   As Sundance Sheepskin and Leather, Barry and Jean Anderson began making sheepskin products in Guffey in 1971.  Our slippers are made from USA sheepskin and are hand washable.

All of our slippers and moccasins feature soft soles to make them both comfortable and flexible.  Available sole options include: natural non-marking crepe rubber soles, durable cowhide leather, or suede.
